WASAGA BEACH COMMUNITY POLICING COMMITTEE ISSUE A CHALLENGE

(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – The members of the Wasaga Beach Community Policing Committee with the assistance of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has issued a challenge to the residents of Wasaga Beach to help us fill a jail cell at the upcoming Christmas Parade with food for the Wasaga Beach Food Bank.

During the Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 29th the Wasaga Beach Community Policing Committee will have a 4’ x 5’ x 8’ wood jail cell on their float, which they want you to help them fill!

So instead of last year where the members gave out candy, they well be carrying green bins and pushing grocery carts. So on Saturday, November 29th please come out and enjoy the parade but this year bring a food item and help us use a jail cell for a better purpose.

Next we will chat about what the local food bank needs this time of year.
