(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Friday July 06, 2012 shortly after 9 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on Perth Line 86 near the intersection of Perth Road 131. The 39 year old male driver from Perth East was found to have alcohol on his breath. After breath tests results he was served a 3 day drivers license suspension. He was already found to be unlicensed and was therefore served a summons to attend court for “driving a motor vehicle with no licenceâ€. His vehicle was towed from the scene and has been impounded.
(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Friday July 06, 2012 just after 10 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer stopped a black Cadillac at a RIDE spot check on Perth Line 20 in St Paul.
Upon speaking with the male driver, the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. Kevin Brown (30) of St. Jacobs has been charged with “impaired operation of a motor vehicle†and with “operate motor vehicle exceed 80 milligrams of blood alcohol contentâ€. A date has been set for court in Stratford (August 20, 2012). He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the Cadillac was impounded for seven days.
The female passenger in the vehicle was charged with “having liquor in open container in other than licenced premises, residence or private placeâ€.
(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Friday July 06, 2012, around 11 p.m. a speeding motorist was stopped along Perth Line 20 West of Russeldale. The 40 year old female driver from Kitchener had the odour of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. She registered a blood alcohol concentration between .05 and .08 on a roadside screening device. Her licence was seized and suspended for 3 days. She was also issued a speeding ticket.
(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Saturday July 07, 2012, around 12:45 a.m., a 27 year old North Perth male was stopped on Tremaine Ave and Bright St. in Listowel. The driver was found to have been drinking alcoholic beverages. He registered a blood alcohol concentration between .05 and .08 on a roadside screening device. His licence was seized and suspended for 3 days and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
(ST.MARYS, ON) On Saturday July 07, 2012, shortly after 2 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer stopped a pickup truck for a traffic violation. The vehicle was stopped on Egan Ave. in St.Marys. The officer detected signs of impairment and arrested the male driver.
He was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.

A date has been set for court in Stratford (August 13, 2012). He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension his truck was towed and was impounded for seven days.
