(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Tuesday July 10, 2012, shortly after midnight a Perth County OPP officer observed a fast moving car near the intersection of Road 122 and Perth Line 44 (west of GadsHill).
While speaking to the lone 47 year old female driver from the Twp. of Perth East, the officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage being emitted from the driver’s breath. She was administered breath tests and registered a blood alcohol concentration between .05 to .08. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver was issued a 3 day drivers licence suspension.
The Perth County OPP wants to remind motorists, “if you need to drink, plan a safe ride home. Call a cab, call a friend, use public transit or stay overnightâ€Â.
