(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Monday July 09, 2012, shortly after 4:15 p.m., Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a two vehicle collision on Hwy. 7 south of Line 29.
Investigation revealed that two vehicles had been driving south bound on Hwy. 7. The first vehicle, a Pontiac Montana mini van slowed down prior to turning into a laneway. The driver of the second vehicle, a Honda Odyssey mini van drove into the back of the Montana.
The occupants of the Odyssey, two adults and one youth who are all London residents did not sustain injuries as a result of the impact. The female driver of the Montana, a Perth South resident was uninjured. A second occupant of the Montana, a two year old child, was transported by Perth County ambulance to Stratford General Hospital where the child was examined as a precautionary measure.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and required to be towed from the scene. The Perth County OPP is continuing to investigate this crash.
