Motor Vehicle Collision with City Bus
On Tuesday October 9, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Guelph Police responded to the intersection of Arkell Road and Summerfield Drive Guelph for a collision. Investigation revealed that an Acura SUV had stopped then proceeded to enter the intersection directly into the path of the City of Guelph bus. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
The 39-year-old Guelph female driver of the SUV was charged with Fail to yield to traffic on through highway contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
