(MILDMAY, ON) On May 20, 2013 at 3:57 pm, a West Region Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) traffic unit officer on patrol in the village of Mildmay saw a Black Dodge Dakota moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was displayed on radar at 71 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone. The officer stopped the truck and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 38 year old Kelly LAKE of Durham was charged with Operate over 80 milligrams, Drive while suspended, Speeding and Novice driver BAC above zero. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 24, 2013 to answer to the charges.
