Gregory HECKEL – Drunk Driving

(Chatham-Kent, ON) On the 7th of August, 2013 at 1:43 a.m. the Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint about a vehicle that was driving erratically on the 401 Highway eastbound near Merlin Town Line.

The vehicle a 2012 Audi was stopped after it was clocked speeding at 133 km/hr. The driver was showing signs of impairment by alcohol and was arrested. Alcohol test at Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters revealed that the driver was nearly double the legal limit.

Gregory HECKEL, a 55 year old Fort Erie, Ontario man has been charged with; Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol, Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle and Speeding 133 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone.
