Around 2:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police received a call about a suspicious vehicle on Green Line in Ridgetown. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on Hill Road. Through investigation, officers determined that the male driver was in possession of electronic equipment and jewelry, stolen from an unlocked residence on Golf Course Line.
The 35-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with break and enter and possession of property obtained by a crime over $5000. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
