(ORILLIA, ON) – On Sunday August 18, 2013 at approximately 8:30 a.m. Orillia OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) responded to a George Street address in the City of Orillia for reports of an injured male party.
Officers attended the address and located a male party lying unconscious and bleeding from the head. The 59 year old Tiny Township man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The OPP Forensic Identification Unit and the OPP Orillia Crime Unit attended the scene and are currently investigating the incident.
The male had attended a local bar earlier in the evening but does not remember how he was injured or how he arrived at the residence. At this time foul play is not suspected.
