(Hawkesbury, ON) RIDE enforcement initiatives are continuously being conducted in the Town of Hawkesbury and throughout Prescott County.
On the 16th of August 2013 at approximately 1 am, Constable Doucet of the Hawkesbury OPP, intercepted a black Chrysler 4TR on highway 34 in Champlain Township while doing a RIDE initiative. The officer had grounds to believe that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver.
Timothy ELLIS, (51 yrs) of Champlain Twp, was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada Section 253(1)(b) Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle.
