(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) The Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 40 near Rokeby Line, August 26 2013, at around 10:00 a.m.
The preliminary OPP investigation indicates that for reasons unknown at this time, the southbound truck, hauling corn in two trailers, left the roadway and traveled about 15 metres toward the wood line.
Lambton OPP is reporting that the driver was taken by Lambton Emergency Services (EMS) to hospital with what appear to be minor injuries.
Traffic is flowing slowly through the area, and it is best to avoid Highway 40 and the Rokeby Line location as officers and resources are still on scene.
The investigation is continuing, and the transport truck has yet to be towed from the area.
