Suspicious Fire – Highway 2 Closed

(QUINTE WEST, ON) Quinte West OPP and Quinte West Fire Department remain on scene at 1325 Old Highway 2 for a suspicious fire that was reported at 1:20am.

The Quinte West OPP Crime Unit, Quinte West Fire Department and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office will be on scene today to conduct an investigation into the cause of the fire.

Old Highway 2 currently remains closed between 1476 Old Highway 2 and Aikins Rd. The public is asked to avoid Old Highway 2 and detour at Wallbridge Loyalist Rd to the east and Aikins Rd to the west of the scene.
