(Selwyn Twp., ON) Peterborough County OPP officers were called to a County Line residence by a female to investigate an ongoing report of a male breaching his court order.
In early August of 2013 a 48 year old Selwyn woman and a 30 year old male were involved in a domestic related dispute that resulted in the male being charged with Assault and released by Peterborough Courts with strict conditions.
On August 28, 2013 OPP officers learned from the victim that the male had continually been breaching the court conditions and would continually contact her despite the court order.
On August 27 and August 28 the male had been in contact with her, and had attended her home address.
An investigation was conducted by the OPP and the male was eventually located and arrested for Failing to comply with his Recognizance.
The male, who cannot be identified, was held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Provincial Courts in Peterborough on Thursday, August 29, 2013.
