(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) A member of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police was on patrol when an ATV was observed on Main Street in Haileybury driving at a high rate of speed.
On August 29, 2013 at approximately 6:00 p.m., the ATV attempted to evade police but was stopped within a short distance.
Further investigation resulted in charges.
A 16-year-old Haileybury male is charged with Unlawfully drive Off Road Vehicle on a Highway – Highway Traffic Act Regulation 316/03 (2) and Speeding – Highway Traffic Act Regulation 316/03 22 (1)(a)
