(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Friday August 30, 2013 just before 3:00pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was notified of a grey car that was driving all over the Highway. Huntsville OPP located the vehicle on Centre St in the town of Huntsville. As a result of the complaint and traffic stop the driver was found to have been impaired. Shelly EGAN (50yrs) of Huntsville was arrested and charged with having more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood. She will appear in Huntsville court on September 18, 2013 to answer to her charges.
On Friday August 30, 2013 just after 11:00pm Huntsville OPP was notified of a motorcycle leaving a business on King William St. in the town of Huntsville that could possibly be impaired. Huntsville OPP located and stopped the e-bike and found the driver to have been drinking. Steven BOWYER (47yrs) of Huntsville was arrested and eventually charged with Impaired Driving, Having more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood, along with Driving While Disqualified x2. The accused was held for a bail hearing and will appear in Bracebridge Court on September 3, 2013 to answer to his charges
On Sunday September 1, 2013 just after 6:00pm Huntsville OPP was notified of a pickup truck all over the road on Highway #60 heading toward Huntsville. Huntsville OPP located and stopped the pickup truck in the town of Huntsville. The driver Elaine CIARROCCHI (51yrs) was found to have been drinking. She was arrested and eventually charged with having more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood. The accused will appear in Huntsville court on October 2nd, 2013 to answer to her charges.
On Sunday September 1, 2013 just after 9:00pm Huntsville OPP stopped a Toyota pickup truck on Brunel Road in the town of Huntsville that was weaving on the road. After a conversation with the driver it was determined that he had been drinking. Mark HUTLEY (53yrs) of Huntsville was arrested and eventually charged with having more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood. The accused will appear in Huntsville court on September 18, 2013 to answer to his charges.
On Sunday September 1, 2013 just before 8:00pm the Central Region SAVE team was on ATV patrol in Lake of Bays Twp. Jeffrey VALLEY (39Yrs) of Thornton Ont was with a group of ATV operators near North Ril Lake Rd. While being questioned it was determined that he had been consuming alcohol prior to the SAVE team stopping the group. He was eventually issued a 3 day licence suspension for having more than 50mgsl of alcohol per 100 mltrs of blood.
