(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On September 1, 2013 at approximately 8:10 a.m. OPP received a traffic complaint of an impaired driver in the Town of Parry Sound. Police located the vehicle and arrested two male occupants.
Sean Willis, 44 years of age from Aurora, was charged with the following:
Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Exceed 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content while Operating a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Drive Disqualified, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marijuana – Under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Drive While Under Suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Parry Sound on October 10, 2013 to answer to the charges. The passenger was released unconditionally.
The vehicle is impounded for 45 days and the accused’s driver’s licence is suspended for 90 days.
