(CALEDON, ON) – On Monday, September 2, 2013 at 1:41 am, an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement in the area of Highway 10 south of Highpoint Side Road. The officer observed a white Chevy Cruz travelling northbound on Highway 10 at a high rate of speed and determined that the driver was operating the vehicle at 151 km/hr. in an 80 km/hr. zone.
As a result of the traffic stop, Mohit RAGHAVE, 22, of Mississauga was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days as a result of the stunt driving charge.
The driver is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Caledon on October 7, 2013.
