(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A local female driver faces a drinking and driving related offence after her vehicle was stopped by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
On September 1, 2013 an OPP officer conducted a vehicle stop on Sturgeon Road near King’s Wharf Road, in the former Emily Township. The officer determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol and subsequently conducted a road side breath test.
As a result of the investigation Gail HENDRICKS, 47 years of age, of Emily Township, was charged with driving while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on October 17, 2013.
