(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 30 year old male with Public Mischief after investigating several calls at an Ottawa St, Cayuga, Haldimand County, ON address.
Over the period of two days this past weekend officers responded to false 911 calls at the Cayuga address. Despite warnings from Police about the use of the 911 system, 3 more false 911 calls from the same address and same telephone number were received.

For the month of August 2013 Haldimand County OPP officers responded to 131 false 911 calls.
All non-emergent calls can be made to the Ontario Provincial Police Communications Centre at 1 – 800 – 310 – 1122.
