(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On September 04, 2013 at 9:46am officers from the Ontario Provincial Police were called to Highway 62 and Wilson Road in the Ward of Hallowell for a domestic dispute. A couple had been travelling on the highway and had an argument. The driver pulled the motor vehicle to the side of the road as the dispute escalated. The police investigation revealed that the female had assaulted her boyfriend. The male victim was not injured.
A 22-year old female from Dundalk, ON was charged with Assault contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear and undertaking with a court date of September 25, 2013 in Picton, ON.
