(Centre Hastings, ON) On September 4, 2013 at 10 p.m. Central Hastings O.P.P were conducting a R.I.D.E Program on Highway #62 at Crookston Road in the Municipality of Centre Hastings. At 10:42 p.m. officers interacted with a female driver who had been consuming alcohol and she subsequently failed a roadside screening device. As a result, 36 year old Stella OLMSTEAD of Bancroft, ON was charged with Over 80mgs. She will appear in Belleville Provincial Court on September 26, 2013.
Over the Labour Day Holiday Weekend 7 R.I.D.E Programs were conducted throughout the Madoc, Marmora and Tweed area resulting in over 160 vehicles being checked. In addition 30 Speeding charges and 7 other Highway Traffic Act charges were laid on area roadways.
