Members of the Barrie Police Service were on routine patrol in a central Barrie neighbourhood and conducted an investigation involving a male party. During the investigation, officer located a quantity of drugs concealed under the man’s foot. He was arrested for Poss. of a Controlled Substance. The officers searched the male and located a set of brass knuckles. Further investigation also revealed that the suspect was the subject of a probation order and was in breach of the listed conditions. The male party was lodged in custody on Poss. CDSA, Poss. of a Prohibited Weapon and Breach of Probation. He was held pending a morning bail hearing.
