(PERRY TWP) Police are investigating an assault that occurred on Sunday September 8, 2013 at approximately 10a.m as a result of road rage.
A Perry Township man was travelling west on Highway 518 en route to his daughters residence in Perry Township, when a second driver, also travelling west caught up to him. The driver attempted to pass the first vehicle but was unable to do so, causing him to become angry and follow the first driver to his destination. When the drivers arrived at the Perry Township residence the accused started yelling at the female home owner and assaulted her prior to leaving.
Police arrested and charged Dana THOMSON (57) of Kearney, ON with assault. The accused was released from police custody and is to appear in Sundridge Court on Tuesday October 8, 2013.
