(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Friday September 13, just before 7:00pm witnesses were traveling on Limberlost Rd in Lake of Bays Township and were following a Chev Astro van that was demonstrating erratic driving behaviours. The witnesses contacted the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) concerned for the driver.
Huntsville OPP detachment members located and stopped the vehicle on Deerhurst Highlands Dr. Huntsville On. The driver Chipman HAMILTON (53yrs) of Huntsville Ontario was found to have been drinking. He was eventually arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Fail to Provide a Breath Sample under the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused will appear in Huntsville court on October 9, 2013 to answer to his charges. The accused vehicle was impounded for a 7 day period and he was also served with a 90 day licence suspension.
