(Rideau Ferry,ON.) On the 16th of September 2013 Ontario Provincial Police in Rideau Lakes Township responded to a call of a break in at a residence on R14 in South Elmsley Township.
O.P.P. officers attended and investigation showed that the break in occurred sometime between the 30th of August and the 16th of September 2013.
Culprits entered the cottage through a side window. They stole 6 fishing rods as well as a guitar.
The guitar is a Gibson 335, beige in colour valued at approximately $4000.00.
The guitar has specific markings that would positively identify it.
As well on the 25th of August 2013, O.P.P investigated a break in at a neighbouring cottage on R14 where several fishing rods were taken.
The O.P.P would like to remind people to continue to report any suspicious persons, vehicle or activity to their local Police Department.
