On Sunday September 22, 2013 members of the HEAT Unit conducted a John Prostitute Sweep in the downtown core.
Between the hours of 9 pm and 12 am 3 known female prostitutes were arrested and charged with Communicate for the Purpose of Prostitution after they engaged an undercover officer in communication for sexual services in exchange for monies.
Between 12 am and 1 am 1 male “John†was arrested and charged with Communicate for the Purpose of Prostitution after he engaged an undercover officer in communication for sexual services in exchange for monies.
All four parties were released with future court dates.
