(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service, for the third weekend in a row, in partnership with City of Ottawa By-Law and OC Transpo Special Constables, conducted a Nuisance Enforcement Project in the communities of the Byward Market, Lowertown, Vanier, Sandy Hill and Centertown this past weekend. The enforcement effort was designed to address on-going community concerns in the downtown core associated with disturbances, noise, public intoxication, drug use, aggressive driving and property damage.
This enforcement project took place on the evening of September 20 and concluded on September 22, 2013. The goal of the Nuisance Enforcement Project is to protect the well being and property of all the persons in the City of Ottawa mentioned Inspector Chris Rheaume
