(Markstay-Warren, ON.) – On the 18th of September at approximately 6:33am, the OPP received information on a suspected impaired driver traveling westbound on Highway 17 from Sturgeon Falls. Officers located the vehicle a short time later on Highway 17 in Markstay-Warren.
The driver, a 21 year old male from Sudbury, was arrested after failing the roadside screening device. He was transported to the Noëlville Detachment where he registered more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.
Jacob R. Schroeder of Valley East is charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood.
