(Chantry,ON) On the 15th of September 2013 Ontario Provincial Police in Rideau Lakes Township were called to a residence on County Rd 8 near the village of Chantry to investigate damage to a home.
Officers attended and investigated holes in the siding of the residence.
With the assistance of the O.P.P. Forensic Identification Services Unit the investigation revealed that sometime that day, the holes in the home were caused by a shot gun blast.
The home owners were not in the home when the damaged was caused and no one was injured.
