(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) On Friday October 4, 2013 at approximately 12:11 am, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Wellington County Road 7, near 2nd Line, Centre Wellington Township. The driver of a 2008 Toyota entered into the checkpoint and officers spoke with the male. During the investigation marihuana and cocaine were discovered.
Justin KENT of age 24 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams and Possession of Cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 28, 2013 to answer to the charges.
