Update: Road Now Open

(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) is reporting all roads in the area of an early morning collision near Thamesford have now been reopened. The 19th Line was shut down for several hours between Road 74 and Road 68 for a two vehicle collision.

A transport truck and a minivan taxi cab from Woodstock were involved. Zorra Township Fire (Thamesford) and Oxford County EMS were called in to assist at the scene. The male driver of the minivan was taken to Alexandra Hospital for minor injuries and released.

A fuel leak was discovered coming from the transport truck involved in the collision. The Ministry of Environment was contacted and attended to facilitate the clean-up.

The collision remains under investigation.
