(Madoc,ON) – On October 3, 2013 at 12:50 pm Central Hastings OPP attended Madoc Public School in response to a call for assistance after a relative of student became confrontational with a staff member. During conversation at the entrance of the school, the adult male assaulted the officer and he subsequently resisted arrest. Several other officers responded to the scene to assist.
As a result the 44 year old man of Stirling, ON was arrested and charged with Assault Peace Officer. He will appear in Belleville Provincial Court on October 31, 2013.
