Several trailers and sheds in Arnprior were broken into between September 23 and 27. All locations were on the waterfront near the Arnprior Airport and it is believed the suspect attended by boat. Fishing lures appeared to be the only thing stolen, and minor damage done to windows and doors to gain entry. Provincial Constable Cory Briscoe is investigating.
A residence on Prince Ave in Renfrew was entered overnight on September 28 and a homeowner’s wallet was stolen. The victim indicated the front door may not have been locked overnight. Sometime between 11:30pm September 28 and 6am September 29 the thief entered the home and stole the wallet. Provincial Constable Sean Smith is investigating.
On September 30 a break in was discovered at an inactive Church on Calabogie Rd near Springtown. Unknown suspects broke windows, spray painted walls, and damaged property inside the church. It is not known when this crime was committed. Provincial Constable Sarah Turcotte is investigating.
