(SOUTH FRONTENAC, ON) – On Friday, the 4th of October, 2013, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit received anonymous information, regarding a large outdoor marihuana grow operation.
The large drug operation was located on the rural property of an uninvolved third party in South Frontenac Township. Approximately forty (40) large marihuana plants (with a processed street value of $40,000.00) were eradicated. The suspected proprietors of the grow operation are currently under investigation.
The Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit reminds residents to be watchful for trespassers and any suspicious activity. This activity should be avoided and reported immediately to their local police. Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
