(ESTAIRE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 9-1-1 call shortly after 4:00pm on October 7, 2013 at a residence on Elbow Ridge Road in Estaire. Officers located a female victim inside with serious injuries. Emergency Medical Services responded. However, the victim succumbed to her injuries.
The investigation is being treated as a murder.
Members of the Sudbury OPP Crime Unit are investigating with the assistance of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) under the direction of Detective Inspector Mike Bickerton.
