(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the West Region Highway Enforcement Team were conducting a RIDE check at Old Greenfield Road and Newport Road in the County of Brant.
At approximately 8:47 p.m. on Saturday October 19th, 2013, an officer stopped a 2004 Kia Rio. Officers talked to the three occupants of the vehicle and after further investigation officers located a bag of marihuana.
Shawn LAFORME 31 years of age from the City of Brantford is facing the following criminal charges
Production Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana under 30 grams
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused is currently before the courts.
