POLICE ASKING FOR PUBLIC TO BE WARY OF SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

(NOTTAWASAGA, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking the public to be wary of suspicious people and vehicles that come onto your property.

In two incidents on October 15 and October 19, 2013 on the 12th Line and the Adjala-Tecumseth Townline, the homeowners were approached by a female that was dropped off at the end of the driveway, she approached the door asking if they were selling pumpkins.

Remember if a similar incident happens to you at your home, you need to clearly ask the person to remove themselves from your property and immediate contact the Nottawasaga OPP (1-888-310-1122) with as many details as you have regarding a description of the suspicious person(s) and the vehicle.

The Nottawasaga OPP is actively investigating these incidents and would like the public to report them as soon as they occur so that we can follow up on these incidents in a timely manner.
