(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers were conducting a RIDE check at Pleasant Ridge Road and Ellis Avenue.
At approximately 8:35 p.m. Sunday October 13th, 2013, officers observed a black 2008 Ford turn around to avoid the RIDE spot check. Officers stopped the vehicle and while talking to the male driver, they could smell the odour of alcohol on his breath. The driver was given the Roadside Screening test. As a result of the test he was transported to the County of Brant OPP detachment for Intoxilyzer Tests.
Christopher PECKHAM 28 years of age from the County of Brant is facing the following Criminal charge, Drive over 80 milligrams
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on November 8th, 2013 to answer to the charge.
