(ODESSA, ON) On October 22nd at 8:15 a.m. an officer with the Loyalist OPP seized a quantity of marihuana after checking a blue Dodge pick-up truck exiting off Hwy 401 eastbound at County Road 6 in Odessa, Loyalist Township.
Upon speaking to the driver the officer detected a strong odour of marihuana coming from within the vehicle.
Police subsequently seized 943 grams of marihuana bud with an estimated street value of $9,430.
Charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking is 31 year-old Michael McManus of Greater Napanee and 26 year-old Tyler McManus of Bath.
Both are scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Napanee on November 26th.
