The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to remind all drivers to please be careful on the roadways this month.
According to the Ministry of Transportation, the month of November is known as the peak time when the risk of a collision with a wild animal is the highest. If possible, avoid driving during dusk or dawn when most wildlife collisions occur. Swerving to avoid hitting a wild animal may result in a more serious collision. If hitting a wild animal is unavoidable, remember to stay in control.
