Gary MORES – Breach, Drugs, 126 in an 80

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) -A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has resulted in the arrest of a male driver who now faces numerous charges.

On November 2, 2013 an OPP officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on Glenarm Road within the City of Kawartha Lakes. The vehicle was travelling at 126 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. Investigation indicated that the driver was on a recognizance of bail with conditions that included not to operate a motor vehicle or to be in possession of non-prescription drugs.

As a result of the investigation the driver, Gary MORES, 49 years of age, of Oro-Mendota Township, has been charged with two counts of Breaching his recognizance, possession of a schedule 1 drug and speeding.

The accused was held for a bail hearing which occurred on November 3, 2013.
