(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – The members of the Wasaga Beach Community Policing Committee with the assistance of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has issued a challenge to the residents of Wasaga Beach to help us fill a jail cell at the upcoming Christmas Parade with food for the Wasaga Ministerial Beach Food Bank.
Our local Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank is situated at 1360 Mosley Street the old Borthwick’s Carload Food Market and is open year round on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
To contact our local food bank during the above hours of operation call the Office Phone at 705-429-6464 and for after hours there is an answering machine. Our food bank provides temporary food assistance to Wasaga Beach Individuals and families in need. For information on how to utilize our food bank please contact them directly and if you are able to donate food our cash please contacted also on that matter.
