(NAPANEE, ON)- On Monday, November 17th, 2014 at 10:45 a.m., an officer with the OPP Highway Safety Division located a vehicle that had been reported driving erratically on Highway 401 westbound near Odessa.
The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, a brown 2008 Buick Enclave, travelling at 80 km/h.
The female driver failed to stop for the officer and attempted to go around another police vehicle also trying to stop the vehicle. Eventually officers were able to stop the vehicle.
Charged with Failing to Stop for Police contrary to Section 216 of the Highway Traffic Act is 50 year-old Louisa HOOD of Ottawa. She is scheduled to appear in court on January 5th, 2015.
