(Selwyn Township) – On Saturday November 22, 2014, at approximately 3:50 a.m. officers from the Peterborough County OPP where called to investigate a motorist traveling on Lakefield Road.
Patrolling officers stopped a Honda Accord being operated in an erratic manner on Lakefield Road near Killoran Road, and investigated the male driver.
As a result of the investigation the vehicle driver, 22 year old Nicholas WERNER of the Selwyn Township was arrested and charged with Having more than 80 mgs of alcohol in a 100 ml of blood.
WERNER was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on December 18, 2014.
