(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) – Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted numerous R.I.D.E initiatives throughout Wellington County during the weekend of Nov. 21 – Nov 24, 2014. As a result of these R.I.D.E initiatives, four people are facing impaired driving charges as follows:
Curtis MILLER (age 28) of Nichol Twp. has been charged with over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court December 12, 2014 to answer to the charge.
Chester CARERE (age 50) of Guelph has been charged with over 80 and impaired driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court December 9, 2014 to answer to the charges.
Alice ROBINSON (age 56) of Cambridge has been charged with over 80 and fail to provide breath sample contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court December 12 to answer to the charges.
Blake MILLS (age 69) of Fergus has been charged with over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court December 12 to answer to the charge.
All drivers licences were suspended for 90 days and vehicles impounded for seven days as per statute. A fourth individual was given a 3 day suspension.
The Wellington County OPP Festive R.I.D.E. Campaign commenced on November 19, 2014 and runs through to January 2, 2015.
