Unlocked Vehicle With Keys Inside Stolen From Goderich

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating the theft of a silver 2006 Pontiac Pursuit stolen from a driveway located on Gloucester Terrace in Goderich. The two-door hatchback was stolen on December 7, 2014 sometime between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The vehicle had been left unlocked with a set of keys in the vehicle. This case should be another reminder to all to “Lock it or Lose it”. Please remember to lock your car, remove the ignition key and secure your valuables in a spot where criminals will not be tempted to steal them. These simple preventative steps are effective at deterring crime otherwise you may fall victim to a preventable crime.

The vehicle is valued at approximately $11,000.
