(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in a male being arrested for a drug related offence.
On December 13, 2014 an OPP officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 7 near Taylor Street. Further investigation revealed that the male driver was in possession of marihuana.
As a result of the investigation Logan SMITH, 26 years of age, of Zephyr, was arrested and charged for possession of marihuana, under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on January 29, 2014.
