(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Friday December 19, 2014 Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was notified that a wallet had been taken from a vehicle on George St in the town of Huntsville.
The owner of the wallet advised that around 5:00am they had started the vehicle to warm it up and left it unlocked. When they returned to the vehicle about 20 minutes later they found that someone had entered the vehicle and removed a wallet. The wallet contained the victim’s identification which included a passport.
A reminder to never leave valuables items in an unlocked vehicle, and to never leave a vehicle unattended while the engine is running.
