Thomas CARR – Drunk Driving, Threats

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On December 27, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an incident involving a neighbour dispute that resulted in a local male being arrested.

During the incident an OPP officer located an involved party operating a motor vehicle in the Kirkfield area and subsequently stopped the vehicle. The officer determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, Thomas CARR, 52 years of age, of Eldon Township, was arrested and charged with having care and control of a motor vehicle while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code. Mr. CARR was further charged with uttering threats to damage property, contrary to the Criminal Code.

The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on January 22, 2015.
