(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On Sunday January 4th, 2015, at approximately 7:00pm Quinte West OPP responded to the report of a theft that occurred at a business on Front Street in Trenton. Police investigation revealed that an employee had their purse stolen by a customer. The business surveillance cameras captured the suspect stealing the purse and Police and witnesses were able to identify the suspect.
The suspect was located a short time later in Trenton and arrested by Police. A 17 year old male from Quinte West has been charged with Theft Under $5000. He was released on a promise to appear and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville later this month.
